In our study we have asked teachers with a focus on after-school recreation center how they estimate that their competence has been used in after-school recreation center during the last three years. The method we have used to illustrate this is the Delphi method Nordänger (2009), where we interviewed eight respondents by e-mail. They want to combine care and pedagogy that supports students' physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.

Vilka roller får fritidspedagogen i klassrummet

The purpose of the study was to look into the subjects which the students express when they cry out to their recreation instructor, if there are similarities and differences in the subjects when they turn to their recreation instructor or when they instead turn to their teacher, which different roles and positions the students place their recreation instructors and the teachers in. I have used focused observations during three days in two different schools. Using the ideas of J.Butler on performative perspective, I´ve analyzed the way the students have positioned their recreation instructors and teachers through speech and actions. My conclusion is that students early on see hierarchical structures in school and help maintaining them..

The play outdoors can help to increase children's social development, creativity and imagination. The after-school teachers used the schoolyard and local environment for various purposes which may be due to different circumstances, knowledge and experience to carry out educational activities outdoors. But it may also depend on whether the after-school teacher focuses on the regular school day or in the afternoon at the after-school care centre..

Skolans förväntningar på förskoleklassen : Samarbete, kommunikation och organisation mellan skola och förskoleklass

The purpose of this study has been to explore the expectations of the primary school on the activities of the pre-school. In order to limit the study I have chosen to compare the expectations found in two different schools. In the first case, the pre-school is integrated with the after-school centre and grade one to three (primary school), into the same building. In the other case, the pre-school share localities with the after-school centre in a separate building, with its own yard, within the primary school area. Since the purpose is rather comprehensive, it has been divided into sub-themes with separate set of questions.

Also I have read researchlitterature about conflicts and how to handle them. Then I have made observations watching how leaders and teeangers communicate and behave. The purpose of the examination is to describe differences with constructive and destructive handle with conflicts. I have also shown how conflicts can give possibilites for the involved people to get to understand themselves, the other parts and the whole complex social behavior better. But that demands that the involved people choose a constructive solution where both parts cooperate, understand eachother and can see how themselves have contributed in developing the conflict.I have worked as an employee at the recreation centre two evenings a week in sex months. During that time I have observed conflicts and different strategies among teeangers and leaders. My conclusions are that conflicts give opportunities for people to grow as human-beeings and get a mentally richer life.
